New year's weekend we were in Ohio. Thursday and into Friday we were in Ashland spending time with the Whitmores and my step-grandma, Avie. On Friday morning/afternoon we went to Amish country for some shopping. Then we were off to Columbus to see the Himeses for new year's eve and a little Columbus shopping on Saturday morning before we headed home. It was a tiring 3 days, but a good 3 days :)
this wasn't technically during break, but Ohio State played in the Sugar Bowl on Tuesday, the 4th, against Arkansas. OSU won :)
and this doesn't have a lot to do with break, but these were taken during break :) Raul's favorite thing to cook lately is tocino, and it's a favorite in this house as far as Filipino food :)
and yes, it's yummy! it's beef cubes marinated in tocino powder marinade (bought at the Asia Mart in Indy) and fried.
