So last weekend, my mom tells me about this Filipina named Charice who's been making a big splash in the US, appearing on Oprah, Ellen, with Celine Dion, and asks if I or Raul has heard of her. I had no idea. So I asked my husband, and of course he goes "Charice Pempengco? Um, yeah. Why?" So she's been big in the Philippines for awhile, it just took Americans awhile to catch on. Ellen found her on youtube, and I guess the rest is history. Anyway. I found this video and was just blown away...and the girl is 15! 15!I wasn't a big fan of Jasmine Trias or Ramiele Malubay, but Charice...she blows them all away.
