Somehow, going back to your husband's hometown also feels a bit like going back to your own hometown. It's nice and comfortable, and it feels like just yesterday that we were here. We're staying with Ma and Hans at the family's new house (with the progress of a new door the last time we saw it), and it'll be a fun time me thinks. It's fun seeing some familiar faces, Tess, Raul's aunt, and waving at a few others we'll get to spend time with later. I've already been asked to sing on Sunday :p (just like being back home, eh?) We're really looking forward to being here. Unfortunately, we had some sad news that the long-time mayor whom Raul's parents had both worked for at one time passed away from cancer, and we dropped by the mass at the Mati City Hall to pay our respects.
Our days in Davao were so much fun with Roselle and her family. My favorite moments were at the Crocodile Park...when I post the photos, that'll explain everything :) It was so much fun and one of the best animal parks I've been to.
Be in touch...we have regular internet access at the house, which is good.
Be blessed y'all.
