- 3 trips to Indianapolis - one to shop, have lunch, visit my brother, another to go to an Indianapolis Indians game, and another for the American Idol concert (need to write more about that later).
- lunch in Richmond with my aunt, uncle, cousin, brother, and sister-in-law
- 2 trips to Marion - one to visit IWU, the social security office (not successful at all) and check out Marion's new Meijer (impressive) and renovated Wal-Mart (definitely not as ghetto as it used to be), another to go to First Friday downtown Marion. My reverse culture shock took a serious hit that night.
- 2 Sundays at Dad's church. The first Sunday was me and Raul singing a hymn in Visayan and doing a Q&A time with my dad for the sermon, followed by a church carry-in. My girlfriends Heather and Beth were able to come :)
- couple lazy days at home taking care of odds and ends that require internet research. Turns out, the "post visa" stuff is just as complicated as the "pre visa" stuff. Pray for us. We need a lot of patience and peace right now.
at American Idol...our seats were so high up and the arena is so steep...if I stood up and leaned over just a little bit, I felt like I'd fall right on the court
Kris Allen :) really liked his set. I'd go to a concert of all him. Scott, Matt Giraud, and Danny's sets were also really good
dinner before American Idol, at Alcatraz Brewery...with B and Amber (they didn't go to the concert) and Joshua (did go with us)
