There's a huge difference in our apartment in the past couple weeks. Monday we sent 3 boxes that were turned into 2 boxes by China post. We still have one box that's filling up with things we'd like to send right before we leave. I'm secretly hoping we don't have to, but these suitcases are a lot smaller than they look. Hopefully, if Jamie is able to bring back vacuum bags for me, the bulky clothes problem will be solved (because as we all know, they take up the most space). Our walls are completely bare, as you can tell from our photos. It's eerie. When we talk, there's that weird echo. And both our wall clocks have been sold, so the habit of looking up at the wall for the time is confusing. It's just weird living in an empty apartment for a month. Hopefully we'll be able to get out a bit. Starting next week, I think the time is going to go super fast as we plan to stay with Cherry for a bit, I'm going to be going to Shanghai overnight with Britt to visit Jodi, and lots of people are coming back into Nanjing...and of course the wedding. But right now, time is still crawling by just a bit. our storage room...big difference! this is the cleanest it's ever been! we each have 1 suitcase and 1 duffel bag that are filling up fast. carry-on will be a big backpack for each of us

our empty living room :( full of bags divided out for people who bought from the rummage sale, bags of clothes to give away, and another box that will hopefully will be sent to the US.

and just because it's funny and weird... Raul's back after his massage on Monday :p he's had this done twice, and though he promises me it feels good, I swear it looks like he's been tortured!!
