more weekend stuff

So we met Noli de Castro, Vice President of the Philippines, today. :) Yep. We were told Friday night that he was in town and wanted to meet with the Nanjing Filipinos. Expecting some sort of forum meeting, we all gathered at Jinling Hotel. It wasn't a meeting so much as a meet-and-greet and photo op. Still cool though :)

yesterday, finally having a free Friday, I met up with Jamie while Raul did some shopping. Jamie and I checked out Aqua City, a new mall just south of downtown. this mall, for a Chinese mall, is pretty cool :) has a Papa Johns, Starbucks, Costa Coffee, H&M, Levi's, Bench Body (Filipino chain), Zara, and other fun stores. My favorite...H&M. The death of my wallet :) Bought some great earrings, a gift for my husband, and got some more ideas for gifts for me :)
