photos from last night

After a very long Saturday, I have some fun photos to show for it...all of them from the staff dinner last night. We were treated to dinner at the Round Table restaurant at 1912. We went for our staff dinner a couple months ago, and though the food was good, most of us grumbled about the fact that the portions were way too small for 100 kuai (for 4 courses and a drink, but still...). This time, we were much happier (maybe they heard us the first time :) And we had a great time, though we were tired. Good food, good conversation, and a good chance to get to know Ryan and Michael, the new Filipino teachers who also work in the English track teaching math and science.

my cool cheesecake with the honey sugar candy on top, and my toffee milk tea. How do you make toffee milk tea? By putting 2 pieces of toffee candy into regular milk tea! Now...why didn't I think of that?
