There's my Spanish/Tagalog way of saying "Let's go to the Philippines!" Raul's not around for me to ask how to say "let's go" in Tagalog or Cebuano, so Spanish, the next best thing, is what you get :)
Anyhoo. So we're going...July 21st be exact, and we'll be staying for as long as my little visa stamp will allow (around 3 weeks-ish). The dates for the NICF summer conference were finally announced, July 18-20, so we're planning to leave the day after on a red-eye from Shanghai to Manila then early the next morning from Manila to Davao (we'll do some shopping in Manila after we take the Super Ferry on our way back...not good to blow your budget in Manila before your vacation technically starts, so I've learned). We're really looking forward to this now because Raul's older sister gave birth to a baby boy just last week...so Raul is now an uncle for the 3rd time :) Name is still pending, but we gave some suggestions. We both can't wait to see him.
More things to look forward to as we plan some sort of itinerary for our trip, including a wedding party we'll be throwing, lechon (roasted pig) and all. Woohoo!
Be in thought for our trip as we work out the budget and other odds and ends in the next week or so. Not to mention finishing up school.
