getting over a sinus infection

After some nastiness on Saturday morning (I won't go into the details, because only my mom the nurse would appreciate it), I think the amoxicillin is kicking in and the infection, headaches, and fever are subsiding. Praise Him, because honestly...I was about to lose my mind and have to call off from work for the next week. I'm still not 100%, but I'm hanging in there.

Yesterday was probably one of the longest days I've had in a long time...it was just full of lots of travelling, shopping, and fellowshipping. It was a great day though.

My Buckeye brother Daniel from Findlay who's been in Nanjing for a couple of years surprised many of us by marrying a Chinese sister just a couple months ago, and we didn't find out until afterward :) But it was a great way to celebrate with them yesterday as 1 of the couples in the fellowship, Bill and Jamma, had a "shower" for them. Going to one of these events as an engaged couple was really special for me and Raul as everyone looked at us "you're next!". I just wanted to focus on Daniel and Helen...but also get some ideas and look forward to our own special day :)

Toys 'R Us brought me some joy yesterday too as I bought Clue. Aww...fun memories. They've vamped it up quite a bit now, and the characters are little action figures (they don't move though). So Jamie, Shelly, Kim, and I had fun with this last night, as well as a shortened game of Monopoly. It's just so much fun having board games again.

And lastly...some tangible wedding plans are on the move...flower ideas coming from the Prenevost family, fabric shopping next weekend in Shanghai, hotel confirmation and deposit soon, and lots of other little things. It's so exciting :)
